Explicit consent

This notice explains the personal data that Futurecode Teknoloji İnovasyon ve Yazılım A.Ş. (“Futurecode”) processes in the Crux app on the basis of your explicit consent, under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

You are not obliged to give consent. Processing you don’t consent to does not take place; what changes without each consent is explained below. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

1. Verification selfie (face image)

If you choose to verify your profile, a liveness-checked selfie is compared by our moderation team with your profile photos. No persistent biometric template is created; the liveness check runs on your device. The selfie is deleted right after the review decision.

Without consent: verification is not performed and no badge appears; you can keep using the rest of the app.

2. Gender you are interested in

Who you’d like to meet may count as special-category data relating to sex life. It is used only to suggest people and show you to relevant people, and is not displayed on your profile.

Without consent: matching cannot be provided, as this information is essential to Crux.

3. Approximate location

If you allow it, your approximate location is used only to determine your city. Your precise location is not stored or shown.

Without consent: you can choose your city manually.

4. International transfer

App servers are located in Germany (Hostinger, Frankfurt); push notifications and crash reporting (Google Firebase) operate outside Türkiye. These transfers rely primarily on standard contracts under KVKK Art. 9; your explicit consent is relied on only where that safeguard cannot apply.

5. Giving and withdrawing consent

Consent is given by ticking the box or granting the permission on the relevant screen; the time of consent is recorded. If this notice changes, we ask again.
Selfie consent is requested separately for every verification attempt.
Withdraw location permission in your phone settings. Verification selfies are deleted after review anyway. To withdraw consent for your gender-interest data, delete your account in Profile → Settings → Delete account or email info@futurecode.com.tr.
