Privacy policy
This policy explains how personal data is collected, used, shared and protected when you use the Crux mobile app and crux.futurecode.com.tr (together, “Crux”). The data controller is Futurecode Teknoloji İnovasyon ve Yazılım A.Ş. (“Futurecode”, “we”), Türkiye.
1. Data we collect

2. How we use data
To create and secure your account; show your profile and suggest matches; provide chat, voice/video calls and plans; verify profiles and review reports; prevent fake accounts, scams and underage use; send notifications; keep the service running; and meet legal obligations. We never use your data for advertising or sell it.
3. What other members see
Your name, age, photos, city, job, bio, interests and prompts. Never your phone number, full date of birth or precise location. You can hide your age, stop appearing in Discover and turn off read receipts in Settings.
4. Service providers
- Hostinger International Ltd. — hosting of app servers and database (Frankfurt, Germany data centre),
- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics) — push notifications and crash reports,
- SMS provider (Türkiye) — sign-in codes,
- Futurecode servers (Türkiye) — real-time signals and call relay (TURN).
Some providers may process data outside Türkiye under appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses) or with your consent. We may disclose data to authorities where legally required.
5. Retention
We keep profile data while your account is active. Verification selfies are deleted right after review. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, voice recordings, matches, chats (including photo and voice files sent by either side), likes, plans and reports are permanently deleted once the 14-day restore period ends (your account stays closed and hidden meanwhile); backup copies are purged within 30 days. Moderation audit logs may keep only “what action, when” without content.
Traffic logs: Turkish Law No. 5651 requires us, as a hosting provider, to keep traffic data for 2 years, even after you delete your account: phone number, member ID, sign-up/sign-in and action times, the type of action (e.g. “sent a message”, never the message itself), IP address and source port, and app/device details. These logs are stored separately in tamper-evident form, disclosed only on a lawful request from competent authorities, and deleted when the period ends. See Law enforcement requests.
6. Security
Connections use TLS; calls use encrypted (DTLS-SRTP) connections. Selfies and chat media are stored in non-public storage. Staff access is role-based, protected with two-factor authentication and logged.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data and request a copy. Use Profile → Settings → Download my data and Profile → Settings → Delete account in the app, or email info@futurecode.com.tr. We respond within 30 days.
8. Age limit
Crux is only for people aged 18 and over. See our child safety standards.
9. Cookies
Our website does not use cookies or trackers.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will announce significant changes in the app.
